SPIP brought life and happiness to a Greek tragedy at Bangkok University on International Dance Day, April 29th. We were invited to join the university students’ performance of The Death of Agamemnon to showcase our talented Thai dancers. We were there to add celebration to the story, celebrate international dance, as well as add a grand finale to lighten the mood and engage audience participation at the close of the event. Our girls did not fail at any of these tasks.
Even though the rain clouds opened at the death of Agamemnon, and rain started pouring on the rituals and ceremonies of the later acts, our dancers pushed through and performed under the darkening skies – despite rain falling from the crying skies.
No matter how dark the mood, our dancers always shine!
