Get ready for the Y7 Cardboard Airplane Challenge!
Each tutor group will form two teams (so there are six Year 7 teams total). Each team will build an airplane made of cardboard and/or paper. The plane has to be 50cm long (from nose to tail). We will judge the airplanes based on flying distance and design. Please also see the poster below for more information. Each group will be provided with cardboard, a roll of clear tape, a roll of duct tape and a pair of scissors.
Your airplanes will be collected after 8:15 on Wednesday, May 29th. During assembly on Friday, May 31st, your designs will be tested out in the Science Design Symposium 2024!
