This honorary award is presented by the School Director as a token of encouragement and recognition for students who have brought distinction to the school through outstanding achievements in academics, sports, music, art, or other fields.

To be eligible for nomination, candidates must meet the following criteria:                                  

  1.  Applicants must be enrolled in Year 12 as of the announcement date.
  2. Applicants must have brought recognition to the school through achievements in academics, sports, art, music, or other fields.
  3. Applicants must be good role models with exemplary behavior.
  4. Applicants must submit their work and supporting documents by the specified deadline. 

Video Submission Guidelines for Award Consideration    

  1. Frame size: Landscape only                                                                        
  2. Duration:  No more than 3 minutes                                                                         
  3. Camera/Equipment:  Any smartphone, tablet, or camera may be used, but the face must be visible                                                                                  
  4. Audio: Clear audio without background noise                                               
  5. Visual:  Sufficient lighting, face must be visible, and no backlight    
  6. Backdrop: Simple and non-distracting (home or classroom setting is recommended)                                                                                               
  7. Attire:  School uniform is required

Portfolio Submission Guidelines

To submit the portfolio, applicants must adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Cover Page:  Include a clear photo of the applicant along with the full name (first and last name).
  2. Content:  Organize the portfolio by separating each area of achievement, accompanied by relevant and presented images.
  3. Reflection Question:  Applicants are required to answer both questions listed below and include their responses at the end of the portfolio. Each response must not exceed 350 words. Reflection Questions:

3.1   Why is the Director’s Award important to you as a student?

3.2   If you are selected to receive the Director’s Award this academic year, how will you contribute meaningfully and serve as a source of inspiration to others?   Please provide your perspective along with a clear example or strategy for implementation.

  1. The portfolio must not exceed 10 pages, excluding the cover page.

The deadline to submit the application is on 15th July.
