Dear Year 13 Students,
I am pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the Director’s Award for the Academic Year 2025/2026.
The Director’s Award is a special recognition presented to a student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement, character, leadership, and meaningful contribution to the SPIP community.
As Year 13 students and members of our graduating cohort, you have the opportunity to reflect on your journey at SPIP and showcase the achievements, experiences, and contributions that have made a positive difference to our school community.
The award recognises excellence in areas such as:
• Academic achievement
• Sports, music, art, and other talents
• Leadership and initiative
• Community service and contribution
• Extracurricular activities
• School and external representation
• Positive character and exemplary behaviour
• Inspiring and supporting others
Application Requirements
Students who wish to apply must submit:
1 A video presentation of no more than 3 minutes
2 A portfolio of no more than 10 pages, excluding the cover page
3 Relevant supporting evidence of achievements and contributions
4 Written responses to the two required reflection questions

This is an opportunity not only to celebrate what you have achieved, but also to reflect on the person you have become during your time at SPIP and the positive impact you hope to make in the future.
I encourage all eligible Year 13 students who believe they have made a meaningful contribution to our school community to consider submitting an application.

Final Interview (Shortlisted Candidates Only): 31 August 2026
Announcement and Award Presentation: 3 September 2026
