Today’s concert was a passing of the torch in many ways. Our amazing Y11 band, Timelock, has been very active in guiding the younger musicians on the ins and outs of concert performance, and inspiring those students who have yet to lift an instrument. Bringing our Y9 band, The Green Shecktors, onto the stage today as their openers was very symbolic of what the future of rock concerts will look like at SPIP. So much talent and so much dedication, and it never ceases if we continue the tradition of passing down our knowledge and know-how. Today’s amazing performances were proof of that!
It is always our pleasure to provide opportunities for the students to unwind. What’s even more enjoyable is watching them shine! Congrats to all those who got their spot on the stage today through sheer determination. We always notice those who work hard. Because that’s how you obtain success!
