Students interested in developing a science, technology, or research project are invited to apply for the 29th Young Scientist Competition (YSC 2027), organised by NSTDA.

Registration deadline: TOMORROW, 25 August, before 5:00 PM

You do not need to have a completed project idea yet. Interested students should register and create their project code before tomorrow’s deadline. You will have additional time to develop your idea and prepare your project proposal.

Project proposal deadline: 10 September 2026, before 5:00 PM

Your research advisor does not need to be Thai. If your teacher needs assistance registering for an account, Ms. Ying can help with the registration process.

Don’t miss tomorrow’s registration deadline — register first, then develop your idea!

As we are now entering the rainy season, we would like to remind parents and guardians that respiratory illnesses, such as the common cold and influenza, are more commonly seen among school-aged children during this time of year.

The School Nurse’s Office is concerned about the health and well-being of all our students. To help prevent and reduce the spread of infections within the school, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following measures:

1. Mild symptoms
If your child has mild symptoms, such as a runny nose or cough, but does not have a fever, we kindly ask that you ensure your child wears a face mask throughout the school day.

2. Fever
If your child has a body temperature of 37.5°C or higher, we recommend that they stay home to rest or seek medical attention. Please report the absence due to illness to registrar@spip.in.th. If a medical certificate is available, please attach it to the email.

3. Care at the School Nurse’s Office
If a student becomes unwell while at school and visits the School Nurse’s Office, and the nurse records a temperature of 37.5°C or higher, the nurse will provide initial care, including administering fever-reducing medication where appropriate. The student will then rest in the Nurse’s Office for observation, and the parent/guardian will be contacted to arrange for the student to return home and continue resting. This is to ensure that the student receives appropriate care and to help reduce the risk of spreading infection to other students.

4. Supporting students’ immunity
We recommend that parents and guardians consider having their child receive an influenza vaccination annually. This can help strengthen immunity, reduce the likelihood of illness, and reduce the severity of influenza if infection occurs.

Hi everyone! We have an opportunity for students who may be interested in participating in the 2026 World Mathematics & Science Challenge (WMSC) in Burgas, Bulgaria, from 23–26 October 2026.

The competition involves Mathematics & Science and students participate in teams of 4.
Age divisions:
• Middle Primary – born October 2016 or later
• Upper Primary – born October 2014 or later
• Junior Secondary – born October 2012 or later
• Senior Secondary – born October 2009 or later

Fees: USD 1,300 per team + USD 400 registration fee (plus visa/other applicable expenses)

Application deadline: 26 August 2026
