This club is only suitable for key stage 4 (years 10 and 11) and is aimed at targeted hard problem solving techniques and methods .In this club you’ll do some math’s problems each week that will be challenging and interesting. The teacher will help you if you get stuck and show you new strategies for solving problems more efficiently. Other activities at the club include strategy games and math’s competitions. Club Description

Scrabble Club will run both online and by using boards. Scrabble is a very famous pastime game that can make holidays, trips, parties and get-togethers exciting, relaxing and formative at the same time. I played this game very often in my holidays with family and friends.
In the game, two to four players compete in forming words with lettered tiles on a 225-square board ; words spelled out by letters on the tiles interlock like words in a crossword puzzle.
Players draw seven tiles from a pool at the start and replenish their supply after each turn. Tiles in the pool and those of other players are kept secret so that a player can see only those tiles on the board and his own. A player may forfeit his turn and exchange any or all of his tiles for those in the pool. There are 100 letter tiles, each imprinted with a point value for different letters, approximately corresponding to the frequency of occurrence of the letter in English words. Words are scored by adding up the point values of their letters, multiplied by any of 61 premium squares that may be covered, such as double letter, triple letter, double word, and triple word.

The Biomedical Engineering Project-Based Learning Club is designed for KS4 students with genuine interest in biomedical engineering and experience in Arduino-based programming. Students will engage in various hands-on projects—such as patient monitors and prosthetic devices—developing practical skills while building a strong portfolio for future academic and career goals. The club promotes teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving in healthcare challenges. Depending on student availability and passion, it may also expand to robotics projects.
