Club Description

The E-Sports Competition Club provides a structured environment for students who are passionate about competitive gaming. This club is only suitable for key stage 4 (years 10 and 11) and is aimed at targeted hard problem solving techniques and methods .In this club you’ll do some math’s problems each week that will be challenging and interesting. The teacher will help you if you get stuck and show you new strategies for solving problems more efficiently. Other activities at the club include strategy games and math’s competitions. As well as all this, you will get to meet other kids who love Math’s.

Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a cooperative tabletop role-playing where you get to create and control (role play) your own fictional character. Dungeons and Dragons Club is a form of storytelling, that fosters imagination, and creative expression. The game requires communication, creative thinking, strategic planning and negotiation to succeed.

A book review club. The club is for avid readers who will review books that they have read. They will establish criteria for book reviews and they will communicate their reviews to their clubmates creatively. This can include use of slides, artistic work, dramatic reading or even musical interpretation. In this way, students will share their literary experiences, serving as encouragement for all.

Club Description

Scrabble Club will run both online and by using boards. Scrabble is a very famous pastime game that can make holidays, trips, parties and get-togethers exciting, relaxing and formative at the same time. I played this game very often in my holidays with family and friends.
In the game, two to four players compete in forming words with lettered tiles on a 225-square board ; words spelled out by letters on the tiles interlock like words in a crossword puzzle.
Players draw seven tiles from a pool at the start and replenish their supply after each turn. Tiles in the pool and those of other players are kept secret so that a player can see only those tiles on the board and his own. A player may forfeit his turn and exchange any or all of his tiles for those in the pool. There are 100 letter tiles, each imprinted with a point value for different letters, approximately corresponding to the frequency of occurrence of the letter in English words. Words are scored by adding up the point values of their letters, multiplied by any of 61 premium squares that may be covered, such as double letter, triple letter, double word, and triple word.
