We kindly request all parents to register for the upcoming Teacher-Parent Meeting, where we will discuss the recent academic reports. We hope this meeting will be productive and provide an opportunity for both parents and the school to work together in supporting each student’s progress and success.

Season’s Greetings from the Principal of SPIP

As we come to the close of Term 1 and approach the festive season, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere appreciation and warmest Christmas wishes to every member of the SPIP community.

This academic year began on a meaningful note with the Wai Kru Ceremony and the Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony, setting a strong foundation of respect, gratitude, and excellence. Throughout the term, we continued this momentum with many remarkable milestones, including the SPIP University Fair, where our students explored future pathways, and the SPIP Open Day, during which we proudly came together as a school community to showcase our shared vision.

Our Parents–Teachers Meeting was another highlight, reflecting the strong collaboration between parents, teachers, and students. This partnership remains a vital stepping stone in supporting the holistic development and success of our SPIP students. The success of Sports Day further demonstrated the unity, teamwork, and vibrant spirit that define our SPIP community.

I am also extremely proud of the outstanding academic results our students achieved on the global stage through CIE and Pearson Edexcel examinations. These achievements are a true testament to our students’ dedication, our teachers’ passion, and the unwavering support of parents.

In addition, the field trips, assemblies, ECA activities, and our joyful SPIP Christmas Assembly created many memorable moments that we will cherish during the Christmas break.

Thank you all for your hard work, commitment, and the wonderful memories we created together in Term 1. Your contributions have made this term truly meaningful and successful.

Club Description

The Board Game Club is a fun and engaging space where students can come together to enjoy a wide variety of board games in a relaxed, friendly environment. Each week, students will have the opportunity to choose from a selection of classic and modern games — from strategic games like Catan and Ticket to Ride to brain-teasing puzzles. The club is designed to encourage students to work collaboratively, think critically, and solve problems creatively while improving communication skills.

Club: Scrabble Club

Club Description

Scrabble Club will run both online and by using boards. Scrabble is a very famous pastime game that can make holidays, trips, parties and get-togethers exciting, relaxing and formative at the same time. I played this game very often in my holidays with family and friends.
In the game, two to four players compete in forming words with lettered tiles on a 225-square board ; words spelled out by letters on the tiles interlock like words in a crossword puzzle.
Players draw seven tiles from a pool at the start and replenish their supply after each turn. Tiles in the pool and those of other players are kept secret so that a player can see only those tiles on the board and his own. A player may forfeit his turn and exchange any or all of his tiles for those in the pool. There are 100 letter tiles, each imprinted with a point value for different letters, approximately corresponding to the frequency of occurrence of the letter in English words. Words are scored by adding up the point values of their letters, multiplied by any of 61 premium squares that may be covered, such as double letter, triple letter, double word, and triple word.

Club: Cross Stitch Club

Club Description

Cross stitch club where students learn and practice the art of cross stitching. These clubs focus on developing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, patience, and attention to detail. Students also build creativity by designing or selecting patterns. Beyond technical skills, cross stitch clubs promote perseverance, concentration, and relaxation. Students also encourage social interaction, teamwork, and sharing ideas to enhance both artistic and personal growth in a supportive environment.

• Embroidery Floss – Colorful thread used for stitching (usually 6-strand cotton).
• Embroidery Needles – Blunt-tipped needles (size 24 or 26) that are safe and easy to handle.

Club: Theatre Club

Club Description

Theatre Club opens every year but students need to be attentive to sign-up. It is unlike any other club because you must audition, and dedicate yourself to a full year of commitment. It runs both Monday and Wednesday, but the bonds that we build are indescribable. The best part: we get to show off our hard work with 4 fantastic shows in July.
