Vacant Position: Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Index catalogue, classify and purchase all SPIP resources
  2. Supervise the issue and return of library and learning resource centre resources, including the maintenance of an accurate file recording the details as well as annual stock check
  3. Develop students’ techniques in retrieving information utilizing the resource supplied by the library/learning resource centre
  4. Assists students and teachers in the use of library materials and services
  5. Develop subject-specific teaching and learning resources both within the Library and across the school
  6. Organizes the library exhibitions through selecting interesting books to be displayed and coordinating with concerned Departments in arranging the displays and exhibition area in order to promote the library and special events.
  7. Purchase of appropriate resources, equipment for SPIP Library/Learning Resource Centre
  8.  Other duties assigned by the Assistant Director for International Programme


  1. Male or female
  2. Thai nationality
  3. Bachelor degree in Library or higher from an accredited university
  4. At least one year of experience in academic library
  5. Familiar with library automation system/library data based
  6. Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  7. Ability to interact effectively with students, teachers and parents

Salary:           Basic salary + Allowance (English Competency and Experience)
